2. I have enough laundry in my laundry room, that if I was locked in there for two weeks, I could probably literally change my clothes morning, noon and night and still have extra outfits to wear.
3. Our refrigerator lately looks like we are conducting a science experiment on so many levels.
4. Our 3 yr old, when I wasn't paying attention yesterday, snuck two hostess cupcakes by me and must have *enhaled* them in his room without me noticing. Honestly, looking back on that I have no idea where my head was at that time. It was that kind of an afternoon. (We found the wrappers when we were putting him to bed)
5. My to do list.....it needs its own to do list. I am on page 2 of things that need to be done and have barely made a dent in page 1 (cleaning the refrigerator is an item on to do list for this weekend).
Wouldn't That Be Nice? |
I would love a Hostess Twinkie. I wonder if I could sneak one by you!
ReplyDeleteGreat post....are you sure you aren't talking about my laundry room?
ReplyDeleteSo good to know that I'm not the only one!
ReplyDeleteYour 3 yr old must have as big of a sweet tooth as mine does! She would eat sweets all day long if I let her.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from BlogFrog!
Excuse me, have you been hanging out at my house?

ReplyDeleteAmen! Thanks for linking this up!
ReplyDeleteThis cracked me up! I swear we are living parallel live! Every one of those could have been written by me. :)
ReplyDeleteVisiting from NJAH. This post made me smile (and sigh a big ol' sigh of relief). :-)
ReplyDeleteI ask myself all the time, does my floor need sweeping so often because I'm a messy cook or because I have children. I'm hoping it's the latter so that it will go away in 17 years. Until then, I just put on shoes so I don't feel the "crunch."
ReplyDeleteToo funny! I identify with so much of this. I steam-mopped my floors yesterday afternoon and a few hours later, there was a mysterious stickiness on the floor as well as a big glob of icecream next to the mystery sticky. And my laundry room - scary! Thanks for sharing.
