I have arrived let the party begin. (Haven't been around these neck of the woods for a couple Saturdays).

My 6 words.
I need to find my mojo.
I have lost it. It happens periodically. It seems I lose it every year around this time.
Missing my far away family.
Work takes on a life of it's own since in my industry clients seems to wait to move the last couple months of the year. Which means it is craaaaaaazy at work.
Not to mention the regular holiday hub bub.
Family life. (T's basketball games start this next week)
Shopping for Christmas. (Barely even started)
Holiday church activities.
Oh and did I mention I have been fighting a terrible cold the past couple days? Cold 2, Jenn 0. Came home from work yesterday, napped a bit and then worked from home on a clients move last night. That was fun!
Sorry such a Debbie Downer but it is what it is.
And my blogging has not been at its best the past week or so nor have I been keeping up on the blogs I normally read. (Sorry Fi, Janae, Katherine, and several others.) Love you guys but took a couple day break.
Ok, I am done whining.
There is a light at the end of my tunnel, tonight. I am going to the Brandon Heath concert whether I am feeling well or not. Already have the tickets bought them several months ago so...
Hope everyone else is having a great day. It is beautiful here in Portland the past couple days. Did you see some of the pics I took outside my office on my View from Here Post? Yes, Fi those are right outside my door. I work down by the airport so there is a lot of open land.
What are you doing on this lovely Saturday? Anything exciting?
oh I know that feeling...it's one so easy to relate to...gotta go out and shake the mood!..and dance the I got my mojo back dance!
ReplyDeleteI made the mistake of going to Costco today. People do not act normally for the whole month of December. I can't say I had much fun ;)
ReplyDeleteAs usual we are perfectly in sync with our words, which continues to amaze me.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you're not feeling well, dancing and some social time has got to be good for the soul.
My place of work doesn't normally have such a long break but the project team is this year because next year is expected to be kinda crazy (ie no holidays)
Also, many of our consultants fly in from interstate so for the last few months none of them have been home for more than 48 hours at a time, they need the break also.
Hope you find your mojo soon LOL
Enjoy the concert! It is sometimes hard to get the mojo of the holiday season, especially if you are missing family far away! take care of yourself!!
ReplyDeletebetty
Sorry you're going through a crazy time. Of course you would get a cold when your life is already so busy! I hope you had a wonderful time at your concert and are scoring some points against that cold!
ReplyDeleteIf not, you may need an emergency Hawaiian vacation. I'd like to come too. :)
Lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteHope you can get some rest. The concert counts, I say! :)
Hey dear! Sorry to hear you're not doing well and missin your mojo, it definitely happens sometimes and it's never fun but I hope you're doing better and you're enjoying your holiday season!
