Why did the chicken wave to us?
Is that a man?
Why does the man wear a chicken?
Why is that his job?
Why do cars have pedals?
Why do people walk there?
Why did we have to stop?
Why do those move like that?
Why do I have to go to school?
Why do I have to sit in this?
Where are we going?
Why?
When will we be there?
Is Lydia and Jeff going to kiss? (This is his uncle and soon to be aunt who will be getting married soon)
Why?

Are you seeing a pattern here? It is official we have hit the "why" stage. Everything from Hayden these days is why this, why that. Questions, questions, questions. There have been many times of late where I have even caught myself telling him, "I don't have the answer. Mommy, doesn't know EVERYTHING". LOL. (just most things).
Seriously this is just the tip of the iceberg. Some of the questions he comes up with.
As exhausting as it may get at times. I know that this is his way of learning about the world around him and one day I know I will miss this.
Do you remember when your littles hit this stage? What were some of the questions they always asked? Did they ever ask a question that you had no idea how to answer?
I would give Annabelle 3 why's and then I was done answering, otherwise it never stopped!
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you for reminding me of the "why" stage!!! Seriously, I can tell the boys some really funny scenarios of the "why" questions, and how each answer received another "why?"!!!! LOL! Truly precious times!
