Seriously? $625!

Did you see this?  A $625.00 cook book, yes, a cook book...Is it wrapped in gold? Maybe bacon? Nope! 

Apparently, the "former" CTO at Microsoft didn't make enough money in his previous career so he has moved onto writing cook books.  It is however several volumes and I hear the pictures are fabulous however for that much money, I would hope I could at least scratch and sniff to get an idea of what they taste like!

The only people that could probably afford this cook book already have personal chefs so why do they need a cook book anyways?  Hopefully, this doesn't end up a best seller.  So many other things that $625.00 could go towards these days!

Rants


1.  Why is the second I get on the phone does all heck break loose? 
2.  That thing that washes the dishes, its called a dishwasher and it doesn't load itself!
3.  Nor does the washing machine magically put clothes inside its barrell and starts.
4.  Oh and while I am at it...the clothes on the couch that you saw a picture of in a previous post, they don't fold themselves.
5. It's Tuesday and because things were just crazy busy this weekend AND I slacked in order to watch the Superbowl, I have to get on out of here and go grocery shopping.  I hate shopping during the week!

Raves

1.  The "paying" portion of my work day is over.
2.  The sun is shining and it's not raining (still a bit chilly but I will take it)
