"Wacky Wednesday" Brought To You By....

None other than...Charlie Sheen!

This is a family blog otherwise I would probably put a clip of his latest rants and raves on here. But since he has a potty mouth and makes no sense what-so-ever I will spare you!

3 Words for you Charlie!

GET A GRIP!

On reality.  It is about time someone said "no" and is not going to sit idly by and watch you self destruct.  Get some help before you end up another self indulged, egotistical, Hollywood has been.

And your poor boys.  Brooke Mueller get those babies out of that house with a harem and FAST!

And probably not the brightest thing to bite the hand that feeds you.  Just sayin....

Update:  As of this morning after I wrote this post the boys were removed from Charlie Sheens home.  Thank God!

Wacky Wednesday

My 12 yr old son turned me on to this.

Apparently, they are very popular.  They have their own YouTube channel.

"Orange" you glad it's over? Ba-da-bum.

Annoying?  Ah, yeah, most certainly!

Wacky Wednesday--Mad Lib Edition

Remember those Mad Lib books you used to do as a child?  I loved those!  Well I happened across a website that does them.

Funniest thing...Here is one of mine.

All A Dream

I fell asleep yesterday listening to an old album that my mom had. I really enjoyed it, though I had a weird dream. It was kind of like one of the old songs.

I've been workin' in Macaroni Grill,
All the Gigantic day.
I've been workin' in Macaroni Grill,
Just to pass the time away.
Don't you hear the whistle running?
Rise up so early in the morn.
Don't you hear John Mayer shouting
Sara, Have your horn? ”

Sara, won't you Have,
Sara, won't you Have,
Sara, won't you Have your horn?
Sara, won't you Have,
Sara, won't you Have,
Sara, won't you Have your horn?

Someone's in the Bathroom with Sara.
Someone's in the Bathroom, I know.
Someone's in the Bathroom with Sara
Strumming on the old Trombone.

It was the weirdest dream I've had in a long time!

Wacky Wednesday

As reported in The Daily Telegraph.

A cat in New Zealand brings new meaning to the term Cat Burgler.   At first he was stealing bark chips, leaves, newspapers, magazines and bringing them back to his owner.

But now Gus the cat apparently has a hankering for shoes (can you say Imelda Marcos?).  And not any particular shoe...he does not discriminate.  He brings home anything from hiking boots to sandals and makes an announcement once he gets home with a big meow.  If the items he is carrying are to big to get through the kitty door, he leaves them outside. And, he even sometimes goes back to the scene of the crime for the second shoe to make a pair.  To date Gus has made off with more than 60 shoes from his unsuspecting neighbors.

Gus' owner are beside themselves as to what to do.  They want to return the shoes to the rightful owners so they put all the shoes in a box and leave them on their front porch for people to peruse.

Missing a shoe anyone?

Wacky Wednesday

I hear that mini vans are making a comeback...Not for your every day average soccer mom...anymore....

Maybe this is why?

Have you seen the "Sienna" Family videos?  They have definetly brought the "sexy" back to the mini van.

Don't be jealous....I don't have one either...I have a mini van but not a Sienna.

Note:  This is not a paid endorsement

Wacky Wednesday

To keep with the "theme" from last week where I listed some wacky baby names, now lets talk about the "parents" (not necessarily "the" parents of the baby's listed in last weeks WW post).

Celebrity's Stage Names vs Real Names:

John Denver = Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. *Can you imagine his real name on a record label?  They would run out of room*

Bo Derek = Mary Cathleen Collins  *Her real name sounds a bit like a nuns name and just can't see that name in the lights especially knowing some of the movies she has been in*

Kirk Douglas = Issur Danielovitch *Huh?*

Elvis Costello = Declan Patrick McManus *I like Declan but Elvis Costello fits him much better*

Whoopie Goldberg = Caryn Johnson *Not so sure I would have chosen Whoopie but I guess it does fit her*

Hulk Hogan = Terry Gene Bollea *Definetly does not look like a Terry*

Engelbert Humperdinck = Arnold George Dorsey  *I think maybe I would have liked Arnold Dorsey better*

Elton John = Reginald Dwight

Jenny Jones = Janina Stranski *Remember her?  Where is she now?*

Liberace = Wladziu Lee Valentino *Both equally puzzleing to me*

Courtney Love = Michelle Harrison

Meat Loaf = Marvin Lee Aday *Like his music, but his name, not so much*

Rip Torn = Elmore Rual Torn Jr. *I'm a bit "torn" on this one. No pun intended*

Chaka Khan = Carole Yvette Marie Stevens *I'm sorry but when you say her stage name, sounds like you are sneezing*

Dusty Springfield = Mary Isobel Catherine O'Brien

Fatboy Slim = Quentin Cook (aka Norman Cook)

Pat Benatar = Patricia Andrejewski *I love her!  But Andrejewski?*

I guess you can't pick your names but at least you can change them?!?!

Wacky Wednesday

BabyCenter recently released its annual list of most popular baby names for the year.

Lets just say the ones listed below did not make the list.

Here are some of my favorite *wacky* celebrity baby names:

  • Pilot Inspektor (Actor Jason Lee's son)
  • Audio Science (Actress Shannyn Sossamon's son)
  • Moxie Crimefighter & Zolten (Penn Jillet's sons, yes, they are real names)
  • Ka-lel (Actor Nicholas Cage son) Apparently, this is Supermans birth name?
  • Bluebell Madonna (Singer Geri Haliwell from Spice Girls daughter)
  • Bronx Mowgli (Singer Pete Wentz & Ashley Simpsons son)
  • Poppy Honey, Daisy Boo, Petal Blossom Rainbow and now Buddy  Bear Maurice (Chef Jaime Oliver's children) Cmon, really?
  • Keen (Actor Mark Ruffalo's son)  I like Mark Ruffalo as an actor but not so "Keen" on his choice of baby names. He also has a daughter name Odette.
  • Kyd Miller (Actor David Duchovny & Tea Leoni's son)  Another seriously?  You named your kid, Kyd?
And my all time favorites have to be:
  • Racer, Rebel, Rogue & Rocket (Director Robert Rodriguez sons) They can start a band with names like that.

What are the parents thinking when in the delivery room (or prior to if they have already decided while in womb)?  "I think my son looks like a Rebel, yeah, that's a good name..."

And Moxie Crimefighter, Pilot Inspektor?  These poor kids are going to be teased for life!  Sure their "unique" names to say the least but even so...

But, who am I to judge, right?  To each their own I guess.  I will however stick with Kyleigh, Tyler, Hayden and Kaylyn.  Not too common but definitely not Keen.
