To a tea party, we go!
Miss K and I have been invited to our first Mother-Daughter Tea.
I am so excited, as is she.
She has been talking about it all week.
Several of her little friends will be there.
We will drink tea with our pinkies up.
And eat little sandwiches.
It will be fun.
I can't wait.
What are you doing this lovely day?
I have linked my 6WS post to Cate at Showmyface.com.
You can too.
Describe your life, what is going on in it, in 6 words.
Add a picture, elaborate.
And then link up.
Make sure to visit the others.
Lots of great blogs to be read.
That sounds like so much fun! I'm looking forward to doing those kinds of things with my daughter. :)
ReplyDeleteOh this sounds like a lot of fun!! I know it will be enjoyed by all!! I'm going to be working this morning and grocery shopping this afternoon :)

It was delightful. All the little girls were just cute as buttons. They had tea, they had little sandwiches, dessert, played dress up and with dolls. It was sweet.
DeleteWish I could go to a tea party - I have boys.
ReplyDeleteI have two boys too so its always rough and tumble, football, basketball with them...Nice to have a quiet date with the littlest and her friends.
DeleteHave fun! sounds like a very sweet way to spend the day!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day! I have been a tea granny for years.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like fun! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteOh how fun! I used to do that with the daughters and granddaughters!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your tea party!
Happy Saturday!
Linda
Thank you! It was fun. The girls had a blast and us moms had some visiting time too.
DeleteI love female pinkies!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you're going to have a lot of fun! That's the one thing I regret about having all boys.... I can't do the cool things like this with me. (Though I DO get to go to the Mother/Son dance at their school every year.)
ReplyDeleteMother son dance, that is cool. I cant wait to do that with my two boys. I have two girls, two boys so I guess the best of both worlds. We did have a lot of fun. The girls drank tea, had lunch, dessert, played dress up and the moms got to even visit with one another too. It was nice.
DeleteThat sounds really nice, enjoy it! x
ReplyDeleteThat just sounds so fun!
ReplyDeleteSo exciting!
ReplyDeleteI'm visiting today via TALU, and this sounds like such a fun thing to do with your daughter on a Saturday. Hope you had such a sweet time!
ReplyDeleteOooh, fun! Love the way you phrased it too. I so look forward to the days when my girls are both old enough to share a tea party together. Hope you had a blast!
