Well here we are again…Wednesday, the day I will probably dread when I hit a plateau…but for now I am loving it!
I am feeling better with each passing day. I am feeling lighter and have a nice little spring back in my step.
My working out is now becoming a habit, second nature. I did however fall down a little bit these past couple days because LIFE.INTERRUPTED and I didn't get to the club until today. (My goal is 3-4 times a week for at least an hour).
With that being said I prepared myself for the worse when I stepped on the scale BUT....
It wasn't so bad afterall, thankfully. I weighed myself on Saturday and I am still the same, haven't gained any from then or lost any. I am now at 12.6 lbs lost. I figure slow and steady wins the race, right? I didn't put this weight on over night and I can not lose it overnight.
I am still drinking lots and lots of water and have decided I am going to start writing a food journal. I did this several years ago when I lost 60lbs through Weight Watchers. I have also decided to eat more green salads at lunch and dinner to "fill me up". This was another habit WW taught me way back when and helped me. It may not help everyone but it helped me.
I've been getting frustrated because in the past I've lost weight quicker than I am now, but then I gained it all back pretty quick too. I think it's better that I'm losing the weight slower this time because I feel it will stay off more. :) keep up the good work!

What a fantastic idea, I have about 3 different sizes in my wardrobe although I'm possibly just a little far away. Can't wait to see
ReplyDeleteHi Jenn! Sounds like a successful week to me! :-) So good for you! We have to remember that life is ALWAYS going to interrupt, so we just have to keep pressing on and adapt, right?!
ReplyDeleteI have found a buddy--or rather she found me!--and we just had our first weigh in yesterday. It was about what I thought it would be. I am very glad to have a buddy since joining WW is not feasible for me right now...I did WW years ago and was very successful. I KNOW what to do, just have to do it! And I know I can do it if I have a buddy to keep me accountable!
Great idea about the clothing swap! When I was losing before, I would get things at the consignment stores or Goodwill to get me through. You can find some really nice things out there without spending a fortune, but swapping--even better!

I remember how frustrated I was one when I lost a LOT of weight and found that I needed to buy new SHOES. Wasn't expecting (or budgeting for) that. Sounds like you're on a roll. Good luck with it and with the swap. That's a great idea! [#TALU]
