Yum-O!

I made some slllllllllloooow cooked pork shoulder ribs for dinner Saturday night and O-M-G, were they delish!  I honestly had never made these before so I was delightfully surprised as was the rest of the crew.

The meat just fell off the bones to where it was like pulled pork. Yum-O!

What you need to serve up to 8.

  • 3-4 lbs pork shoulder ribs, preferably already trimmed; seasoned with salt and pepper to taste
  • 2  bottles of your favorite BBQ sauce (or can make your own)

1. Place ribs into 4qt pot.
2. Pour barbecue sauce over ribs and turn ribs to coat.
3. Stir in two bottles of water
4. Cover and cook on med for 4 hrs until ribs are fork-tender.

I paired it with some Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes and a Green Salad.  I baked the garlic w/EVOO in tin foil for 45 minutes on 350  and it came out *perfect* to where I squeezed the cloves right into the potatoes for a whole lot of garlic yummyness.
