UPromise Is Celebrating 10th Anniversary

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPromise. All opinions are 100% mine.

UPromise is celebrating and they want you to be a part of their celebration!

Have you helped a child reach for their dreams?

Perhaps you helped fund their summer lemonade stand and they are now a Business Management major, thinking of the next best start up company.

Did you give them piano lessons and they are now on their way to Carnegie Hall?

It could have been as simple, yet as important, as reading with them once a week.

Or maybe it was just someone believing in you when nobody else did.  I had a wonderful teacher in high school who was such a cheerleader for me when nobody else was.  You see I was a teen mother before it was *cool* to be a teen mom.  And when everyone else thought I was going to become another statistic, she believed in me and my capabilities.  She mentored me for several years through high school and we were friends even after high school and now in adulthood.  She helped me with scholorships and financial aid for college which I did go onto attend even with having a small child at a young age.  Going to college was always my dream because I come from a long list of people in my family who barely even graduated high school let alone went to college.  Without her encouragement, I am not sure where things would have ended up so I am forever grateful for her.  All it takes is one person to make a difference.

Do you have a story you want to share about someone that made an impact in your life? A life of someone you know?  Was it you who helped a child achieve their dreams?

www.upromisetodream.com members have received more than $600 million dollars in college savings through their rewards program.

Now they want to reward one of those that have helped make a difference in these child's lives by giving away $1000.00 to 10 winners and a Grand Prize of $10,000 to one winner for your stories.

All you have to do is share your experience on the Dream Wall and then others will vote by *liking* your story.  For official rules, go to the dream wall official rules page.

Join the movement, children are our future!
