Fruitcake

Glorious fruitcake....NOT!  Have you ever seen it?  Does not look tantalizing to me.  A hodgepodge of who knows what.....neon fruit, bread, nuts, spices....

This past week a local radio station that I listen to (104.1 The Fish) has asked callers to call in and tell them what they use fruitcake for. 

Yes, they were making fun of fruitcake because LORD knows you won't eat it. It seems not too many people are fond of this American Icon.

Here are some of the caller suggestions:

• Door stop
• Book ends
• Colorful Paperweight
• Put in the back of your pick up to add weight when on ice
• Home defense

Here are some more suggestions:

• Use as blocks for the tires on airplanes when they land at the terminal
• Lawn fertilizer
• Play football with it
• If you have 3, you can juggle with them
• Use as a base for flower arrangements
• Practice your shot put
• Regift to an enemy
