Leaving Eden

I found my mojo a bit this weekend as I danced and swayed while at the Brandon Heath concert.  Have I mentioned how much I love his music?  The words in his songs just reasonate with me on so many levels.  The words, quite honestly, in many artists that I enjoy reasonate with me.  Music happens to be a big part of our families life.  There generally isn't a local concert that we can't pass up (although we do some) but Brandon Heath happens to be one of my favorites.

This is the 3rd time we have had the pleasure to see Brandon Heath live in concert and he did not disappoint, if anything he gets better each time.  It helped too that we were literally within touching distance of him and the stage.  We were in the second row. My husband actually moved seats and was smack right in front of him so we got some really good pictures.  I am sure Brandon thought he was the local papparazzi. LOL.

His tour is based on his lastest CD release The Leaving Eden Tour.  He posed several questions throughout the evening which I am going to now pose to you.

What is your Eden?  What is your happy place?  When and where is the world perfect to you?  Was it a particular moment in time? A fond memory?  Is it a physical place?

What is your Apple?  What poisons you or holds you back?  The news, internet?  Debt?  Fear in general? Self loathing? Self Esteem issues?

What is your Heart? What are your desires?  What has GOD called on you to do?  Are you doing it?  Why not?

Check back in a few days when I will answer these for you and hopefully be able to make a HUGE announcement about What is in my Heart lately that I will be moving forward on.

In the mean time you should, check out this slide show of pictures we took of Mr. Brandon Heath!

  1. My Eden is Starbucks :) Unfortunately, with the amount of money I spend there it is also my apple :) Stopping in to say hey and follow you from today's hop - hope you have time to visit today too. www.shaunanosler.blogspot.com

  2. My kids are my happy place, and if they're not there, scrapbooking is, largely because I'm sentimental and I can mess with photos of my kids. lol
