Menu Plan Monday

I am a bit late, getting this post up.  Yesterday was so beautiful outside that I haven't even gone full on grocery shopping yet and just now made my menu for the week.

We are moving into week 4,wait, week 3, I don't know...of vegetarian eating. And I feel great! My skin is glowing, my pants are fitting a bit loose, my hair is shiny.... The little kids don't seem to notice much, no meat, in any of the meals (they tend to eat whatever I put in front of them) but the 13 year old just figured it out.  Ha!  Yeah, he just figured it out and now that he knows, of course he is having issues.  Oh well...momma shops, momma cooks, so whatever momma buys and cooks, you eat if you are hungry.  That is my motto these days.

Like most Mondays, I am linking up with I'm An Organizing Junkie.

  1. That is so true. You do feel so much better. Me and my Hubby have been doing the veggie diet for two months now. I haven't really lost weight but my clothes fit better because I'm not bloated. However We have ate chicken over the past two days but that is because he needs to re-feed to loose more weight. Glad to see someone else trying it too.

  2. Only just figured it out - hilarious, and also testimony to the fact that you must cook 'good' tasting food.
I know my 'boys' (hubby included) would feel like their throats had been cut were I to try. Probably should have done it when they were younger :-)

  3. My boys are older, and they can tolerate minimizing the meat servings, but not completely eliminating it. They are hunters, and like to eat what they've hunted. It's for me, only, at this point to become meatless. This may be an ignorant question, but does fish count? Is there another category for eating just fish and veggies? Still inspired.........

  4. My family went vegetarian at home. But I was allowed to have burgers in restaurants and pepperoni pizza if my softball team ordered after the game. After about 5 years I did end up becoming a vegetarian. My parents have not kept up with it.
